A little over a year ago I picked up a my first real imaging related scope and camera, a sv70t and an asi178mm cooled. Prior to this I was using a 6" newt on an AVX with an unmodded D5300. I'm still using the AVX.. squeezing as much as I can out of it.. hopefully to be replaced by the end of the year.
Anyway.. one of the first images I took with this combination was M16. This is RGB only, 90" exposures, total of 6 hours.
Here's my latest, this time in SHO, 180s exposures with a total of 13 hours
I've learned a lot over the past year thanks to my club and this forum. Looking forward to continued learning and improving my skill.
