I had some crappy weather over the weekend, but saw a YouTube video on storm pics.  Technically this isn't astrophotography, but I did use a lot of tools and techniques I learned here on this forum.  I hope you enjoy.

It looks like an alien mother-ship entering the earth's atmosphere, enveloped in clouds, shooting out electrical discharges. I guess I've watched too many alien invasion movies! wink.gif

It might be interesting to add Stars just from some random star field you have.

If I would have got there just 5 minutes earlier, Saturn was peaking out in a hole in the clouds.  That would have been cool.
