Hello, this sketch was my hobby for tonight.. Done using my Newtonian 200x1000 mounted on my manual dobson mount this time. Because I had to manually track, the stars might be distorted. But the experience was pleasant anyway, i could sit while sketching.

I tried my new 92g/m² white paper also it's nice.

hi all,

You show us a nice field view !

Do You used a higher magnification and can You resolut the cluster with 8" ?

I drew the sketch at 29x and many stars could be resolved. It's obviously not the best power to examine the cluster itself, as my goal was to make a low power sketch. That cluster can take much more power then 29x and the views will be very interesting with a 8" also, in my opinion.

Very nice sketch of M 92 in Hercules. Even at low magnification that very compact core can be easily seen.

Fine sketching.

Frank :)
