Hi all,

So I'm am in a bit of a predicament. I was tuning up my atlas, and my retainer ring for worm gear retainer bearing was damaged. Now I need a replacement.  I can fab one as I have access to the tools but I dont know the thread pitch. I think the diameter is 22mm but unsure if its 1.0, 1.5, or 2.5 pitch. I doubt its 2.5 but I want to ask if any one knows what it is or where I can purchase replacements.

It looks like the slots for a spanner wrench are damaged. Can you cut new ones into the ring? A metric thread gauge should tell you the pitch. If you don't have one, a large hardware store should have a selection of metric bolts you can use for comparison.
