Once again, the GLAAC is bringing Astronomy to the public, at Kent Lake area in the Island Lake State Recreation Area.  (take Kensington Road south, exit 151 on I-96)

This event has been held annually for the last 24 years(?), and this year's theme is "Apollo 11 50th Anniversary".

There's a lot going on over this 2 day event, which is the largest free Astronomy event in Michigan, (if not the country IIRC).  The participating clubs will have about 50 telescopes set up for viewing different objects.  This event usually has thousands of people over both nights.

The Harvest Moon will be in it's full glory.
