Being non-ED, would brighter have too much CA showing?

 

Also would the 70s be slower FR so better in that aspect too?

 

Lastly, either comes with eyepieces I don't want, but there is not an option to not have them (24mm UFF). I have enough pairs already, & with better eye relief. What magnification do the 24s have?

yep go the 70’s for longer focal length, but tbh i never find CA that bad in a bino if you keep magnification reasonable, you won’t be using them for planets will you?

24mm about 17x. Which eyepieces were you planning to nuse?
