I will be on a cruise when the upcoming Mercury transit occurs. I will have my DSLR and filter for White light handheld shots of the transit but was hoping to find a good way to do a projection so I can timelapse the transit with my gopro.
Something like the fold-able Keplerian telescopes that project the image onto paper. The only problem is commercial versions are over $400. Ridiculous for some wood and a few lenses.
Anybody have ideas on how to set up a compact version or plans to build a home built version. My google has failed me.
I may resort to binoculars and duct tape...
