Hi, I'm new to this hobby and require some advice. I now have my ES iExos100 pmceight mount running on Stellarium Scope and POTH Hub. I am now trying to learn how to complete star alignment....and how to move the scope to complete this. I am using SharpCap for polar alignment. I've read about plate solving, but given I have no physical handset to move the scope I'm wondering what options are available to me.

Regards,

Jeff

Can't you use the ExploreStars Software on an Android, iOS, or Windows device to move your mount (https://explorescien...-eight-system)?

No, ExploreStars will only work on the udp protocol, not TCP/IP/serial. From what I've read it appears I have to set up plate solving with SGP or some other program?
