Nice; I like it a lot - Congratulations!

Looks very much... very much like Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night Over the Rhône... even to projecting each individual star down into the water (he Ursa Major, you Leo) and identical color palate, same medium, horizon above center, rule of thirds, etc. That's a compliment, not negative --- "In the style of" [van Gogh] is, of course done all the time, and considered fine, provided the practice is quite overt --- which yours is!

Nearly all art curricula have the students re-create a notable van Gogh --- almost always his more famous (psychedelic manic) Starry Night! Your full moon looks like his crescent moon, from that.  Tom

Van Gogh was my first impression too.

I looked at other winners and by judging of the small images there I like this better than the winner.

THANKS FOR EVERYBODY!  I SHARE THIS HAPPNISS WITH YOU ALL!

for my paintings, below is my explanations:

mine is not like that of Van Gogh, for me, the starry nights, the moons, starrs, is just a object,

the object is same as the normal scenery, like the houses, the trees, the mountains, the rivers.

so everybody can paint starrry night.

if somebody paint starry night, then you call him or her as Van Gogh, then per this logical reasoning,

when you paint portrait, you are Rembrandt. when you paint secenry, you are Corot. when you paint trees,

you are Russian painter Hishkin. it's not tenable.

my painting is based on traditional chinese landscape painting with starry night. you can see the mountains

and rocks, the way to painting is different from that of tradtional oil painting

   so I am I  lol.gif

I looked there too.  Hard to believe #1 & #2 in the under 7 class didn't get a little help though.
