Anyone have any suggestions on where I can pick up a replacement dew shield-that is longer than the original dew shield that comes with the AR-6 scope? I've contacted a few vendors-no ones seems to stock the longer replacements.  I can't stand the short dew shield!

Astrozap flexible dew shield?  It won't make your scope whole, but ...

I have one for a 120 f/8.

It is lighter -- puts less stress on the mount.  On a CG4 you want that.

Blacker -- it is lined with black wool felt.

Warmer -- it is not a big metal radiator, I think it keeps my objective dew free longer than the metal one did.

longer ---

Correction, I thought I found a AstroZap that would fit, but it was too small- my mistake.. I'm still looking for a dew shield that will fit onto an AR-6(6" f/8).

Have you tried the Astro-zap 15" ? as I understand the Meade AR6 has the same lens cell as the ES 152 and the Astro-zap 15" long fiits the ES AR152

I contacted AstroZap, they no longer carry the dew shield.

If it's just for dew control and ambient light  one can be made from thin black  foam and held together with rubber bands, black duct tape or hot  glue. Just slip it over as an extension for the stock dew shield.
