Can you use PHD2 to guide using an NexStar Go-To Az-El mount?

Edit: I should have included... using a separate guide telescope and camera. Is it possible to drive the regular Az-El mount?

First, I believe you would need a wedge to allow proper tracking. But

I don’t think the 6se would handle the extra weight of a guide scope and camera.

Done it on a wedge. It works. Used Celestron OAG. You can stretch your max exposure time a bit. I was doing 2 minutes as I recall.

Dumbbell PI 0

Sold the wedge and bought a CGX within a couple months.
