VV 165 = Arp 328 = Hickson 72, a galaxy chain in Bootes. All members are beyond the NGC. The starlike object that is involved in the chain (on the SW side) is in actuality also a PGC galaxy (52847). D = 508 mm, F/3.95, ocular 5.5 mm. 700 m a.s.l., sky brightness 21.5 mag/arcsec. White paper, pencil, blending stump. North up.
