This is my second attempt at a narrow band processed SHO image.

It turns out I have some serious tilt issues that are camera related and I think it needs to go back to ZWO to get fixed.

This image was mainly a test and is way short of data, I need to capture way more to get what I want.

Image details:

Skywatcher EQ6-R Pro mount

Explore Scientific ES80 Triplet

Orion Field Flattener

ASI1600MM Pro -15C

ZWO 7nm SHO filters

Astro-tech 60mm guide scope

ASI120MM-S guide scope

10 each 300 second exposures of Sll, Ha, Olll

Darks and flats

Aligned/Stacked in DSS

Processed in Photoshop - I'm still trying to get the hang of combining and adjusting the narrow band images.

Looks really good. What is the problem you're having now? Have you checked to see if it's not the Orion field flattener giving you perceived tilt at the lower left there? It may just be a spacing issue.

Yeah, at first I thought it might be the Orion Field flattener not playing well in the image path - I went overboard and bought the Explore Scientific field flattener and still had the same problem (in fact the ES flattener was worse in another way, internal reflections).

Then I thought it might be caused by the ES (less than ideal) focuser, but I recently replaced it with a Moonlight CFL motorized focuser and the problem still exists.

And when rotating the camera with the Moonlight focuser the 'footballs' follow the camera.

A friend ran an image through the contour map and came up with this:

I don't know what else to do....
