Hi all,

After a week of poor skies, thought I'd get out and capture some photons last night.  Wasn't expecting much but was pleased with the Saturn results. Jupiter not so much.  From only 25.5 degrees elevation but is probably my best from about 20 sessions this year.

This is with AS!3, Registax 6 gaussian wavelets, combined and finished in AstraImage.  I ran the RGB files through WinJupos, but to no improvement, even slight loss of detail.  Think I need more practice WJ'ing.

C9.25 Edge, ZWO ADC, ASI 290MM, Astronomik RGB filters.  Televue 3x barlow lens cell used, placed just ahead of the camera making about f/23.

Excellent shadow on the back side of the rings.

C ring very vivid in front of Saturn.

Brilliant Cassini division.

Globe of Saturn has plenty of detail with its belts.

Clear skies,

Aubrey.
