Is this normal on the Star Adventurer ie the mount not being square to the SA itself?

 

Will it make any difference?

On my set-up, where the green part is where the tripod goes and the green gets clamped into the white.

 

Hope that makes sense.....

I think this setup is for mounting your SWSA onto your existing GEM so you can effectively track a moon orbiting another moon. /s
