I was able to come out for a few minutes and I captured, Andromeda, m26, and the Hercules cluster. M26 and the Hercules cluster came out pretty good, but Andromeda came out as a bright blur almost the same as in an eyepiece but brighter, and about the same size. I shot 10,15,20,35 second exposures. iso at 800, and 1600 with f-stop at 4.0. Not sure if these would be the right settings, but It is a start.

Any help would be great. I am using a celestron cgemii mount and celestron 8" edge hd scope.

Thanks

With an SL2 on an edgehd 8, even if you're using the 0.7x reducer, you're only going to get the core of M31 in your field of view.

I have a .5x reducer comming. And a revolution r2 imager comming. I will just have to find other stuff to image than m31 it's just to big. Until I buy either the hyperstar or a ed80. Not sure which one yet. Still looking at specs

How do you shoot f4 with an Edge, it's f10 ? Or are you piggybacking your camera with a lens ?
