Very nice seeing around sunset, left image taken with IR 642 pass filter and the right false colour created with the IR filter to enhance details as its very late for this gas giant. Still quite some details around the GRS.

How did you go about creating the false color image? I've been considering exploring a few IR filters from Baader, such as the 685nm or 610nm longpass.

This is IR R G B filters hence the colour is not correct, but at this late stage details are priorty for me..Astronomik make great filters.

Still getting good detail Luke.  Some of the colour lost on the GRS but otherwise a good result.  The window for shooting Jupiter is rapidly closing.
