Hey guys,

Proud owner of a Starmaster 18" with Zambuto optics.  Anyways, given that the scope is nearly 20 years old, there are a few spots where the paint is chipped on the truss bases (flat black) and on the bearings (gloss black) and a little on the mirror box baffling (flat black).

Probably a really silly question, but would something like Rustoleum work for touch ups?  And what about the external woodwork?  Can I use a normal furniture polish?

Thanks in advance - this is my first dob of this kind so I want to make sure I use the right products rather than assuming.
