My favourite open cluster and here is this year's rendition. I usually image it with my ES 102ED but I currently have the VRC-8 mounted up. It was a bit of a challenge to fit it in the FOV but I got most of it. Thanks for looking.

The star colors are sublime - wonderful image!   The diffraction spikes add something special.

Very nice! I have been thinking about shooting this with my 8in RC. I have only shot one star cluster (M13) with a mono camera and I opted to shoot just RGB as a way to keep the light pollution down. How dark are your skies?
