Dear all,

I started to dissassmble the base of my old Meade LX90 12 inch for maintenance/pair of the RA axis.

It keeps showing erratic behaviour when tracking and guiding. When I turn the large gear with loosend clutch I feel resistance at some points.

I am a reasonable experienced observer and I think I checked all the other possible meachanical and electronic errors. (He said bravely.)

Can anyone please point me in the right direction on how to disassemble the base.

Attached pictures show where I stand now but I have no clue on how to proceed.

Thanks very much!

Hans.
