I am thinking of buying the Celestron f 6.3 reducer for a Nexstar 8se scope for visual use.  (Or maybe the Meade equivalent, if the are the same).  I know these are not recommended for Meade ACF scopes, such as my LX 600.  Since I’m visual only, does anyone know what exactly this reducer would do to my ACF views?  If the effects are not too strong, it would be nice to have a wider FOV on occasion.  Thanks.

I use the Optec Lepus reducer which is made for the Meade f/8 ACF optical tubes, but it is intended for astrophotography only.  I can't speak to the Celestron reducer.

This is what I have been looking for! Where can I get one?

PS ok The price is $200 plus...this is a deal breaker
