I was wondering... For imaging, would an SV80A or WO GT71 be better?  I can get both w/ a field flattener for around the same price (GT is about $65 more).  I do like the extra focal length of the SV80, but the better CA correction of GT triplet is making me doubt my decision to purchase an SV80A.  The GT would also be faster imaging from my Bortle 7 skies. Thoughts?

What, The temptation is gone? What about all the used ones that are coming on the market? I know as much as I love my SV80 Access that I got back in November, that I’m definitely saving up money for a SVX triplet lens that Vic has made himself!  I have been impressed by the reviews on the new SVX triplets!

A few shots of my new SV80 Access resting comfortably on a modified Porta Mount 2 with home made tripod. Solid combo!

Fabulous looking! And I’ll bet you it even looks better looking through it than it does looking at it!

Nice tripod! Did you make it adjustable?

I love these small scope reviews and assessments. While I didn't jump on the SV80A, I certainly am glad for those who did.
