The Pacman!!!

I reprocessed my 2018 data as I haven't been able to integrate this year yet.

I selected an orange / blue palette and left some green in the image for more tonal variations.

Nice colors, Axel!

Could you please tell me the definition of the Modern Hubble palette?  I'm not familiar with that name.  Thanks.

I love the colour. The compressed forum version is beaten down too much to get a good impression. On Astrobin one can see the very soft color transitions and how much faint, thin nebulosity there is. I am impressed how nice it fades out to the real dark background. No hard cut offs. 👌

Thanks Ben. It refers to orange/blue contrast using a Hs/Oh/O blend.

I found this reference in a post made by Jon Rista here : https://www.cloudyni...ho-data-inside/ see post#18

I always refer to this post when I start a project. Ask Jon he'll elaborate better than me on this topic.

Thanks astroPaulG. I made a lot of versions and thanks to Jon I found that my Ha contribution was to high (it killed nearly all of the blue). After finding a good blend I let color data speak and only tweaked very slightly the hue (and saturation of course).

LHE also helped a lot for contrast. I also added a pinch  of noise in the background via noise generator.

Thank you for the insight! I wondered why the noise is so perfectly uniform ;).
