I've just "pulled the pin" on a Tak Epsilon 180ED.

7" at an eye watering f2.8.

If you want an OTA without a mount I would ask Rob Teeter if he would sell you an STS OTA sans Dob mount.

New to the market is the Artec 200; nearly 8", f4.0, carbon fibre tube with Feather Touch 3" focuser.

If you want an OTA without a mount I would ask Rob Teeter if he would sell you an STS OTA sans Dob mount.

Teeter is no longer accepting orders for scopes.

I'd be happy with something like the old Vixen 6" f/5. Only with the funky focuser. Only thing I disliked about it and the only thing I had to repair. Celestron sent the parts at no cost. Very nice images.
