Has anyone heard of "3BK" or "OR-5 mm PHILIPPINES" eyepieces?

I can't say I have ever heard of them - so interesting!

Any idea who made them?  Are they good?

0.965" or 1.25"?

Plastic lenses or glass lenses?

Type of eyepiece?

OR-5 implies "ortho", but that could be a 1:3 or 2:2 design.

BK?  Or is that a 3B Kellner?

Unknown.

Where did they come from?

Like Starman1, my first thought was a 5mm orthoscopic and a 20mm Kellner, though the "3B" is a mystery.  As to the manufacturer, without other markings I'm not sure we'll ever know.  Are there any other stickers or stamps/ impressions anywhere on either eye piece?

As to whether or not they are good, put them in your scope and try them out.  Then you'll know for sure.

Perhaps cross-post this in the Classics forum as well.

Right, so "3B" appears to be Japanese "3 Beach".
They do make some telescopes, the "K" stood for Kellner of course.
Does anyone know more about 3 Beach?

No progress on the "PHILLIPINES" labelled eyepiece however.
