Just mounted the fork on my C11 edgeHD. First step to align the mount is to position the OTA parallel to the fork, which on my 1970’s C8 meant matching an altitude ring to an index mark. Found a mark that’s for leveling the OTA, but no ring. I know I can skip this with various autoalign schemes, but a level, polar aligned mount makes for better everything. How do you guys parallel your fork mounted scopes?
