And it"s a weird looking one! It was pretty bright, too. I could have almost uploaded the AutoStakkert image I got from the disk video ... it was actually quite visible in that. I certainly had no trouble aligning the two images when I combined the disk and prom photos ... just overlaid one directly on top of the other by using the prom.

 

I hope someone else caught this. It was just a tiny bit below the 3 o'clock position. (Would love to see an animation of this one, rigel! )

Very nice!

 

I must be living in a parallel universe. I just received the parts to mate my binoviewer to my 80 mm Lunt and this is a the first prom I get to view. This is quite a show and I cannot wait for the sun get out of its minimum!

Great image!  When I observe proms with the Lunt 50mm, I wonder which ones are ascending and which ones are descending. question.gif
