The secondary dome (POD)...

Secondary dome sections don't align quite equally on both sides (...with the primary dome). I had to add some washers to off set one side. Otherwise, the dome rubber lining can get pinched/cut in some cases, and as even the manufacturer's install video shows. Regards

Rubber washer (POD)...

Note: This was an add-on, as recommended, to make the dome bolt waterproof. Make round into square hole in the washer to fit the bolt form.

Before/After rubber sealing (POD)...

Note: Folded pattern 'is' how seals interact when dome is opened

Bolting to the deck (POD)...

Note: Do the bolting 'before' sealing the dome walls to the floor. Otherwise dome can slide on the smooth surfaces like vinyl planks in my case. But don't tighten just yet. 4" 3/4" bolt shown.

Jacking up (POD)...

Note: Once (loosely) bolted down, you'll need to jack up the entire POD to apply the sealant underneath. Bolting is necessary to hold the precise (POD) position on the waterproof flooring.

Sealing the (outside) perimeter (POD)...

Note: Class 50 silicone recommended; apply sealant to the entire circumference in one shot and quickly, by lifting the entire structure at each join (as shown above) and then lowering entire structure on top of the two beads of silicone, one on the inside and one on the outside. Bolt down and wipe off the excess silicone to finish.

Waterproofing the wall base sum-up (POD)...

Vinyl planks with proper sealing as shown above should result in pretty decent waterproofing as far the wall circumference is concerned!

Lock knob (POD)...

Knob holes sometimes don't align quite well; you'll need to widen the open to properly insert knob/s in some cases. Just a bigger drill bit will do the job.

3-Washer solution (POD)...

One side of the secondary dome will require 2-3 washers for properly separating the rubber lining between the two dome sections (as shown) and to operate properly. Rubber lining may get pinched (by design) on one side of the dome without such an intervention!

Your secondary pier next to a drop off seems like an accident waiting to happen.

Secondary pier has only Southern view; no one will be going toward the drop off. Plus short side will have stairs/ladder of sort for getting on to the deck, on one side of the secondary pier. All per design. Regards

Note: Metal (secondary) pier to be installed soon!

Door prep (Warming Shed)...

Note: Door came in two sections that could be opened separately; I joined them into one (with metal plates). Of course it didn't have a locking mechanism so I added one (key pad codable).

Door installed (Warming Shed)...

Note: After joining door sections together, sealing seams with rubber spray, insulating, adding lock, and adding inside panel (one unit), it turned out to be a pretty solid door. Should do the job in the dead of the winter!
