I want to hook up my Canon M5 mirrorless camera to my Questar without using the EOS lens adapter (which enables the M5 to hook up to regular Canon lenses).

Would this do the trick? I already have the Questar swivel tubes.

My experience with TelescopeAdapters.com has been excellent. From its size this looks designed to bring an M42 camera lens to focus. If they have a “shorty” version of this adapter, it will come to focus closer to the eyepiece.
