I bought a Explore Scientific* First Light Nano EQ3 mount so that I could track objects for 10 seconds.  Does anyone know how to adjust the RA setting circle on this mount?  I can adjust the Dec setting circle by loosening one of the three set screws by a very small amount and then rotate the setting circle.  Incidentally, for anyone else who has this mount, don't loosen all three set screws, or you will loose the alignment of the counter weight shaft.  The shaft will wobble when rotated.

Just to clarify... the brand is "Explore Scientific"... not "Scientific Explorer".  grin.gif

The "manual", which can be downloaded from the ES website, is useless... as it consists solely of two pages of drawings of this entire series of mounts and scopes. No written descriptions or instructions whatsoever.

Hope you get an answer to your inquiry!   shrug.gif
