I have just recently (few months) got into video imaging with the r2 and while it has been an amazing few months , I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get color on some objects like I have seen others get!!

Am I missing something that I just cant find by looking around online?? they tell you to switch the settings to daytime for imaging in color but that hasn't worked for me

anyone have any idea of what I could be doing wrong??

also, would anyone know how to do the factory reset on the r2??

thanks in advance and clear skies!!

Try  X128 (2.5sec) exposure, AGC=6db, DNR=0, Sharpness=3.

Hi,

regarding factory reset. Go to Setup menu page2. Submenu Maintenance shall give you access to reset.

regarding the color there are several things you need to check:

1) Day/night Mode needs to be set to DAY

2) AGC needs to be in the lower range. Typically range of 6db-16db works

3) Color GAIN under PICT Adjust need to be >0

I use the cam in FIXED mode so that the DSP can not override the settings.
