I set up a TV101 with a 2x Barlow and Canon 6D camera at a carefully scouted site that would show the mountain ridge at infinity focus, but not be too far away to show the flora.  Here's one frame, and the full animation is below it.

Ah yes, the great Mercury Cacti Transit of November 11th, 2019. I wonder just how much our earth cooled during this spectacular event? No global warming that day. lol.gif  We had temps 30 degrees below normal with snow falling here in Wisconsin. coldday.gif   Now that the transit is over temps are slowly recovering. scratchhead2.gif  Excellent work, Tom!

Love this view, amazing setup to capture this rare event seems like the cactus are pointing to Mercury.  ;-)
