I've been trying some mosaics lately as I feel confident I can stitch them together now I have a handle on using APP.  I'd pretty much stopped doing them as with PI I found it an extremely frustrating experience.  I still stack in PI as APP has no way to save projects so you end up having to load everything by hand whenever you add data to the project which is crazy.  In PI I just have BPP Process Icons for each filter so it is trivial to restack with new data.  So PI for stacking and APP for stitching is a winning combo.

This is a 3 frame mosaic covering IC1805 and IC1848.  I planned the mosaic using Aladin.  Shot with an SV70T+0.8x reducer and a ASI1600MM-Cool with Astrodon Ha/OIII/SII filters.

APP is worth its price alone for its mosaic capabilities.

Really nice mosaic.

I second the notion that APP is great, especially for mosaics. Unfortunately, the author Mabula is a 1 man team and improvements are really slow, like the need for a project concept which has been requested for over a year.
