Still testing out this camera and scope combination.  This is the Tadpole nebula, imaged last week in skies with poor seeing and a Moon that wanted full attention.  

 

30 x 1200 seconds Ha   Baader filter

30 x 1200 seconds Oiii  Baader filter

 

Total of 20 hours integration with a Apogee U8300 camera and filter wheel. I love the longer dark nights for imaging. 

 

AP Mach1GTO mount and TEC 140 telescope

 

Processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop. Didn't get any SII signal this time so created synthetic green channel. 

 

 

A starless version should prove interesting. I will have to look up how to process that.

Very nice!  I bet the full res version looks even better! 

 

I images the Trunk under full moon.  It sucks dealing with it... but NB for the win and longer nights!!!
