I was observing the Moon this morning and for the first time, spent a good amount of time viewing the Lunar cusps at 500 power.  The seeing was above average for my location and I found the lighted peaks surrounded by darkness fascinating.

I grabbed the iPhone and took a few afocal photographs and was pleasantly surprised at the results, so I thought I would share them.
