So, three weeks in and I'm finding that the Star Adventurer Pro can be quite capable... I shot Pleiades last night with the WO 80mm (545mm at ƒ6.3) and did thirty 1 min subs. I got Astro Pixel Processor to reject the worst ten and then took it from there. I made a bunch of calibration frames (10 darks, 10 flats, 15 bias). And then processed the whole shebang in PS... It's not perfect but I didn't have long until the clouds came over. But I'm surprised I could get subs this long.

Very nice! That was a pretty heavy load on the mount.

I think, sometimes, it’s better to not know what something is not supposed to be able to do... I realize that I’m on the ragged edge though.
