Hi:

I recently bought from the OPT Store, the Meade StarPro AZ 102. It is a telescope for novices like me. I found the telescope to be well made. The plastic parts on the tripod are of high, heavy duty quality. The slow motion control knobs work well. And makes viewing fun. The optics are crisp and clear. The only complaint I have with it, the tripod isn't high enough. I found. To remedy this, I bought three bricks to but under the legs. I live on a second floor apartment and use it on my balcony. For my needs, I find it to be a great telescope.

Best regards

Yalor

Hello yalor!

I have the Meade Starpro 90 AZ and I find the tripod a little shorter than I like but useable. I upgraded the diagonal to a GSO 1.25 inch dielectric one and I use my ES eyepieces with it as well. I think it makes for a pretty decent grab-n-go scope. CA is there but not overwhelming IMO.

Clear skies!
