Just FYI I saw the 102XLT AZ on sale at Costco for just $150 if anyone was interested or thinking about picking one up.

Hello Eric.,I bought mine for $170 on sale on Amazon.,maybe a dozen or so of us got them for between $150-180.,This was 2yrs. ago.,I like the scope and tripod.,the mount and the mis-placed short rail made it hard to balance with heavy eps.,

I put a pipe mount on the tripod and it has been a treat.,and recently got rings and a longer rail to mount it on other mounts.,

Thanks for the heads up.,

If you get one, think about removing the short dovetail thats in the wrong position and get a couple of rings with a longer dovetail, D

Thanks. waytogo.gif  You're gonna love a GSO focuser on this scope. (I'm assuming you're getting a GSO.)  I really like the guide handle.  I also have the same set up for my Celestron 80ED refractor.

Cheers!  Bob F.  smile.gif
