Presented here is a rarely imaged ring galaxy, listed as both NGC 1269 and NGC 1291. This galaxy is 33mly distant in the constellation Eridanus. Perhaps not the most colourful or beautiful galaxy, but it's interesting nonetheless. I was hoping for a bit more data, but we've had a lot of fires around lately and the smoke blew in again so I think I'm done with it for now.
