Been using NINA and thinking of buying Sequence Generator.  Will Elbrus meet my need for plate solving?  Or do I need Pinpoint which is an additional cost?  Obviously considering the total cost before making a decision.

In addition I guess I don't need the Framing and Mosaic add on if I have no plans to shoot mosaics.

Thanks for your feedback.

SGP uses Platesolve2, it's included (you need to download and install the catalogues) and it works perfectly well.

Frame & Mosaic is also included, and it's not just for making mosaics but also for framing your targets. And believe me, you're going to use it, I don't do mosaics either and I always use it for framing.

(And SGP offers a fully operational 45-day demo, so everyone can try it out.)

SGP recently added support for the free ASTAP plate solver and it is better than Platesolve2.
And you WILL use the included framing and mosaic wizard.

New SGP uses ASTAP, fast and reliable.
