I found this https://eponline.com...lution.aspx?m=1

This bodes well for the hobby, at least in Europe.Perhaps with major industrialized nations acknowledging this issue as serious enough to want to deal with lp legislatively, there may be some inroads we can make here in the US. The cynic in me thinks probably nothing will come of it given our current state of affairs, but here's to hoping!

The house I am buying is in a subdivision HOA with a light pollution clause describing allowed lighting.  Nothing brighter than 60W or equivalent, aimed down, no "globe" style lighting.  People are starting to take notice of the waste of money and the health problems of overlighting.

I wrote them a letter that thanked them for preserving the night sky.
