Well it appears my power adapter needs to be replaced.  Does anyone know if just a standard 12v / 6a power will work correctly?  I was thinking of just ordering something on Amazon but wanted to make sure this power supply is not something proprietary to QHY.

Thanks!

I've been powering my 168C from a Pegasus Astro Pocket Powerbox which monitors the power output and the camera (i.e. the camera's TEC) has never drawn more than 2A, in fact it appears to be capped around 2A. On the QHY website, or in the manual, I think it states it needs a 4A supply.

You can ask the QHYCCD distributor in Hong Kong whose store has power adapters.
