Hi

Does anyone know what a good reducer/flattener is to suit a Explore Scientific ED80?

I have Purchased a ASI533. Looks ok without a reducer based on the CCD Suitability but when i add a reducer it goes slight over sampling.  Only a .85 seems to bring it back down.

Im not sure how to go about getting one or both, and one that works.

Thanks

Jake

Whats the focal length of the scope? Is it the triplet? Little more info about the scope or a link helps.

Did you not post this HERE

Cheers

Try checking this out and see if it helps. HERE

With a bit of reading about this it seems Folks have been having trouble finding something, even the one recommended and made for the scope by ES. You might be stuck in a trial and error situation for spacing with you camera on the choice of reducer/flattener.

Cheers

Don
