Saturday Dec 28 was forecast to be a cloudy evening. At sunset it was somewhat clear, but not enough for visual observing with the dob. A night for doubles! I spent some time in Cygnus and Lacerta. Then the clouds came in thick. I wanted to grab 15 Gem and M42 while the sky was somewhat clear.

One of my favorite views is the field of Nu and 16 Gem along with 15 Gem /SHJ 70.

Nu Gem is a bright star with a wide binocular companion and many more listed here

"This double is physical" Not sure which ones its referring to since there are many components.

SHJ 70 / HD 45352  Not physical, but very attractive

Then of course M42 with famous multiple star Theta-1.
