AR 2755 from sunny Florida. Captured with a Lunt LS 60-THAD double stacked hydrogen alpha telescope with BF1200 filter, Meade 3X TeleXtender barlow and ZWO ASI 174 mm monochrome camera. AVI captured at 120 fps in SharpCap then stacked using AutoStakkert AS3 with levels and smart sharp applied in Photoshop. Click on image for full size.

I observed this region, I was hoping someone had imaged it. Great work!

I bought a Lunt LS60THa just a few months ago and ever since I bought it I have experienced a strange pattern of occurrences. Whenever the sun develops a sunspot the weather has always been cloudy and raining. I have never seen a sunspot through my Lunt till now. Every instance weather cleared after the sunspot vanished. Believe me, I am serious. I am not kidding when I say this.

There was once instance I was lucky. It was on Nov 11. The weather during Mercury Transit was clear all the way. I enjoyed the show along with about 200 kids from the local elementary school.

This is one image. Took me a couple of hours to process. I'm sure Marty caught it and will have a bunch of versions. He should be known as "La Machine". Can't wait to see what this is supposed to look like.

Bought mine in 2016. The sun only showed up for six days in December this year. Very unusual for the Sunshine State.
