Hello fellow Star Gazers!!
Happy New Year!!!
All those faint fuzzies need the local light pollution filtered. So many places have some amount of unwanted light that washes out objects like the Orion Nebula, Rosette Nebula, and many fainter objects. The Orion Nebula can look sooo(!) much better without the city light nearby. But if you, or someone you know is near a city, are in need a of a good filter at a great price, and, help public outreach, then please make a purchase of filters and more! We know stopping light pollution at the source is best, but until then we offer filters.. A fun gadget we sell uses 48mm filters; The Flip-Filter Goggles. Seeing nebulae like Barnard’s Loop, or the California Nebula in the goggles is just plain fun.
The sleek, slim-line Telrad Heater, installed in, likely, less than a minute, the heater stays out of the way yet gently warms the window, plus, with the heater installed the Telrad will still fit in its original storage box.
What is in it for you?
Well, a good filter at a great price, a slick heater, useful items for under the stars – all good things developed by a visual observer for the visual observer.
