Hey all, here she is. My first ever try at SHO.

I recently acquired a set of Chroma SHO filters. Shooting from a Bortle 9 and surrounded by LEDs.

 ZWO ASI 183MM

 Losmandy G11

 Tak fsq 85

 2 hours Ha

 9 hours Sii

 9 hours Oii

Processed in Pixinsight and finished in Lightroom mobile (saturation etc, noise reduction)

Comments and critique welcome as we strive to learn and be the best we can.

I put it together hastily and I feel I can really clean up the data by working on each channel independently, deconvolution and the likes. However, this was my first attempt and I am pleased with it.

I wish there was a comprehensive list of good targets to shoot in SHO.

  Full resolution.

I recently tackled this object.

I struggled getting an SHO image I liked.

When I added a Synthetic Lum it made a world of difference -- for this object at least (some people don't recommend Syn Lum).

You may want to try making a Syn Lum or using Ha as a Lum.

Nice work.
