I needed averted vision to see the SN in (the core of) M100.

Nice work and congratulations!!  Looks like the supernova is a little difficult due to it's proximity to the nucleus.  Hope it stays this bright or brighter for a while.

Nice sketch of this SN. I looked at a photo a friend of mine took of this galaxy and supernova.
