Hi there, I got my Evolution mount back from the repairers and thought I'd head outside to see if it was working OK. The mount seems to be tighter than before, much less movement between the base and the fork arm.

Seeing was not good, I couldn't see any moons on Uranus, Venus was just a blurry mess which I've oversharpened and kept in full, glorious technicolor™ (since I have no UV filters), I took a video of my collimation and even snuck in a quick video of Orion with my planetary camera (ASI224MC) and planetary processing skills (using a massive 236 x 1 sec frames lol.gif). I hope I don't get kicked off this forum for wasting everyone's time get-em.gif .

On the plus side, I got to play a bit more with CPWI, got the games joystick controller to move the scope via WiFi (although it's too sensitive for my liking) and even managed to get "Precise GoTo" working. So not a total loss.

As Frank Drebin might say, "Move along, nothing to see here ..."
