Hello Folks,

I know this Proposition might be a bit crazy, but does anyone know if it is technically possible to install an Atik One on a Rasa 8? Obstruction would be Kind of significant, but I have seen some crazy large cameras used with this scope. One example would be here: https://www.baader-p...ghspeed-filter/ Spacing would be absolutely critical, since the backfocus of the Atik is 27.5 mm and the RASA requires 29 mm. Thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Warm regards,
Chris

If you both then why not try it ?

Although you may need to add some blocking mask if you want avoid asymmetrical diffraction pattern.

As of now I do not a RASA (since that is quite an Investment for me, I wanted to ask before making the dive :) ). The blocking mask is a good idea! Thanks! But I do wonder how that would potentially reduce the f-stop? Might be mistaken on that one. Regards,
Chris

Hi,
That would indeed be formidable, if you could try that! Would you share your experience? Thanks!

If I can get it attached and in focus I certainly would post the results.
